Durgapur Barrage

Durgapur barrage is located at the outskirt of Durgapur area and on Damodar river. This barrage also has a Bridge that connects Burdwan district with Bankura district. I have been here for many times since my childhood and it is a nice place for outing or picnic with with family and friends.This barrage is located near Durgapur railway station area and is easily accessible as it is on a regular bus route.adjacent with Durgapur and Bankura ,good natural beauty , nice view of Damodor, good place for a family short trip for afternoon.
